If you think of VW Beetle in a new avatar, someone has already given shape to it. With the width of 220cm, the one pictured above is probably the widest classical Beetle in Europe. Built on a 1303 Beetle in 1973, the Beetle tuner, Oettinger, has added a tuned six cylinder Porsche 911 engine that generates 255hp. Apart from air cooled six cylinder engine, there are also Porsche brakes that bring this super fast Beetle to a halt. Other prominent features include a conspicuous spoiler, expansive body of Oettinger, a top speed of 210km/h and a shape that somewhat reminds us of Porsche Flachbau. If you really wanna see the widest Beetle in Europe, you need to visit Volkswagen car museum in Wolfsburg.
