Paris motor show 2010’s first day is primarily dominated by the Lotus that is giving a comeback note strongly. Lotus introduced five new vehicles including the Lotus Elite, Lotus Esprit, Lotus Elise, Lotus Elan and Lotus Eterne hybrid sedan. Apart from the lotus here are few prestigious brands that are making their presence felt. Luxury brand Bentley registers its presence with 2011 Bentley Continental GT.

Automakers are all set to make Paris motor Show 2010 memorable, Italian luxury car brand Maserati is also holding something for its followers. The automaker is here with Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale, which is being claimed to be the fastest, lightest and most powerful car in the Maserati range.

Peugeot on other hand has two different reasons to make itself up in this fame show, first is its stake in Motor show and second is the brand’s 200th anniversary. The French brand is coming with spacious Peugeot 508 and a new HR1 Concept. Whereas the Asian car giant Nissan has something different to offer, it’s here with Townpod EV concept. For me its appearance is a bit odd, but it’s a go for those who care for the environment.

We have other valued names also here, Ferrari is showing its Ferrari SA APERTA, Porsche 911 Carerra GTS, Exagon Motors Furtive eGT, 2011 Infiniti G37 IPL convertible, Hyundai i20 Sport Brabus, Mercedes-Benz with 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS, Range Rover with 2011 Range Rover Evoque, Audi A1 1.4 TFSI, Volvo with S60 and V60 R-Design, BMW has 2011 BMW X3, Opel Astra with 2011 Opel Astra Sports Tourer, Ford Focus with its much touted 2012 Ford Focus ST, Lamborghini is showing Sesto Elemento, Porsche came with 2011 Porsche 911 Speedster and Volkswagen is making its mark with the 2011 Volkswagen Passat.

2010 Paris Motor show is a good blend of production and concept cars. Few big and small names are although missing from the frame, but still it’s pumping the hearts of auto enthusiasts.
