Pioneer to allow streaming of multimedia content to the car

In-car entertainment systems are about to get a lot more powerful and interesting with the new technology that is steadily on its way. AT&T is already offering in-car TV, and Pioneer intends to use WiMAX for buffering content into the car. Pioneer’s Network AV playback system will allow TV programs and music stored at home to be streamed to the car’s navigation system. The system also extends the scope of home networks.
