Print size gold and diamond replica of Buggatti Veyron costs twice the real car

Bugatti Veryron – the engineering marvel and world’s most expensive car in print size version will cost almost twice as much as the real car. Surprised? You should be. But that’s true. British jeweler Stuart Hughes, and Swiss model car maker Robert Gulpen have joined hands to produce the 1/18th scale Diamond Edition of the real car, but it costs £2 million in comparison to £1.15 million price of the road going Buggati veryon. The replica which is made of solid 24-carat gold and platinum, decked with a single cut 7.2-carat diamond set in the grill weighs 7kgs. The model will be a limited edition as only three replicas will be made in all. Apart from these, the gold and diamond replica has steering that can turn and operate wheels and also features the convertible hood which is operational, making the model the exact replica of the real thing. Additionally, the toy sized model will come with a certification of authenticity, glass house, aluminum case, and photo documentation of the manufacturing process.
