Renault Scenic was first launched in 1996 and was voted as the European car of the year in 1997. This model has been in market for fifteen years and to celebrate the occasion Renault has announced their intent to present a refurbished version as a special edition.

Right from its launch Scenic was in great demand. Several generation of Scenic were launched in subsequent years. The latest announcement provided by the automaker for the special edition Scenic is encouraging for potential customers. The Scenic will be loaded with extensive features and hold your breath, these features comes at the same price as the current Scenic.
This is intended to boost the sales – especially at a time when Europe is still crawling back from the aftershocks of recession. Renault is expecting big returns from this model. With more than 1.5 million units sold already from its launch in 1996, the special edition Scenic is priced competitively with prices starting from 25,500 euros.
The special edition Scenic is made available in six metallic and non-metallic body colours. The differentiation in the special edition Scenic from the regular production scenic are door handles, fog lights trim, exterior mirrors. Apart from changes in the exterior, the interior changes include dark charcoal Pleven upholstery in seat and leather trimmed steering wheel and gear shifter and a sunroof.
Additional features offered by Scenic 15 are the electronic parking brake, rear parking sensors and Carminat Tom Tom navigation and rear license plate trim. It has a sliding central stowage unit as well. Scenic 15 is available in 3 different diesel engines – with 95,110 & 130 horsepower. Renault has developed a range of new diesel engine to fulfil their commitment for fuel efficient power trains. One of the latest engines is provided in the variant with 130 horsepower – which gives 53.4mpg.
