Revamping the 'Indian'- America's first motorcycle

In another attempt to recreate the past and get in touch with the rugged old days, CS Designs is in the process of redesigning America's first motorcycle. Slated to premiere in 2009, the Indian will not be an exact replica of the Chief, as it had been during the previous attempts. Instead, the new model will be made desirable for a larger clientele by appearing modern to include those who prefer something more in touch with the present generation, without losing the interests of the die-hard fans of the original. The Indian has been a huge competitor of motorcycle greats, Harley Davidson, and CS Design hopes the Harleys would be left sniffing dust when the Indian makes its return.
