What does it offer?

Remakes are the flavors of the day. Following on the same path somewhat, the new Beetle would come equipped with 6 speed manual or 6 speed DSG automatic gearbox, while under the hood you can expect Volkswagen Scirocco engine. The height of the new version has been trimmed by 15mm adding sleekness to the new Beetle.

The Beauty

Round up your friends and pile them into the new car. The car has been built with a seating capacity for up to 4 people and in case they bring along a lot of booty, no problem! Just roll over the back-seat and fit in those extra luggage boxes.

To add to the extra beauty of the car, 19 inch wheels have been expertly fitted into the car, while bi-xenon headlights magnify the beauty of the hood which is an added feature of the new Volkswagen model. Of course, with a dash & spring of other modern amenities, the car boasts of becoming an instant companion in your life.

The Beast

Customers will be having three engine options to choose from – two petrol and a diesel. With the diesel version, you can expect around a total of 138 HP and has a fuel economy of 40 mpg fuel economy in the Highway cycle while with the petrol version you can expect around 197 HP. Trust Volkswagen to always be the best.

The Thrill

Beetle 1.2 TSI comes wedged with BlueMotion Technology (including Stop/Start system and battery regeneration) and is without a second thought has the most fuel-efficient engine. The coupe consumes 20 percent less fuel as compared to TDI engines which are thought to be the most efficient.

It can easily touch a top speed of 180 km/h and has 105 PS. The combined fuel consumption in its case is 5.5 l/100 km (129 g/km CO2) as against 7.5 l/100 km guzzled by the previous model (75 kW / 102 PS). Even at top most speed, fuel economy does not shoot up. This aptly fits in the case of higher performance TDI with 2.0 liter displacement and 103 kW / 140 PS. Beetle touches a top speed of 198 km/h with torque-strong turbodiesel (320 Nm from 1,750 rpm) while just 4.9 l/100 km (equivalent to 129 g/km CO2) is its and combined fuel consumption.

Interiors

Lay your hands on the modified dashboard and have the ultimate driving experience. As per the complaints with the previous dashboard, the new Beetle model has incorporated a better version of the dashboard to enhance the driving position.

Exteriors

Ask no more for the Beetle comes equipped with LED daytime running lights, bi xenon headlamps and large 19 inch wheels. If the interior looks good, then the exterior totally rocks. The new Beetle model is around 168.4 inches in length, 71.2 inches in wide and around 58.5 inches in height. Just about right to fit into your garage.

Should I buy one?

If you want class and know the value of money, then the new Volkswagen Beetle is the car for you. Fitted with latest generation amenities like the high-end sound system developed (thanks to the guitar and amplifier manufacturer Fender), keyless access and an amazing glass roof, it would be unfair to not mention the satellite navigation system. Travel in ultimate luxury as never before and that too, without losing your way ever.
