The R.O.D. concept by designer Sasank Gopinathan can perform well in the cities, and run fast on the highways. Inspired in part by the Suzuki Swift, the concept has similar dimensions; it has a compact wheelbase of 2199 mm, and is 3350mm in length. This two-seat concept is powered by a straight-six engine and has all wheels equipped with solenoid brakes to ensure safety.

The designer calls it a modern hotrod, but we see more of a retro roadster in the car. In fact, most of the styling does appear pretty much retro. And if this car were ever to be made, we’d always be vary of those delicate-looking wheel attachments on the hood.
