StreetFlyer lets you enjoy what Icarus wasn’t able to

How would you feel if you could fly? You must have a several times thought if you had wings, but you never really got a chance to manage a pair of wax wings like Icarus? Today there is an answer to your wish, a much safer alternative and it doesn't require to jump off from a cliff. The Streetflyer is a hand-glider for the streets. It is an oversized tricycle and instead of sitting on it you hang from it.

Created by Dr. Carsten Mehring, the streetflyer can be described as a light-weight carbon-fiber, human-powered vehicle which gives you the freedom to shift from running, while being positioned in the frame-like wheeled structure to a horizontal hang-gliding sort of position. The position is made possible by a body-harness that is fastened to the structure.

The frame of the vehicle can be retracted, and can also be collapsed and put onto the back of the user. The fold-ability makes the Streetflyer ready to be get smaller in size or positioned prior to “flying”. Make sure that you remember to wear a helmet whenever you ride/glide on your Streetflyer.
