The 1966 Batcycle with sidecar shows up on eBay

It wasn’t always the powerful Tumbler or the Batpod for the Dark Knight. The Batmobiles were mostly formidable, the “batcycles” not so much. Plus, this one has a crazy sidecar to tow Batman’s sidekick Robin. Based on a 1966 Yamaha, the Batcycle was selling on eBay with a Buy It Now tag of $29,500. It has 8500 miles on the meter and runs on a 250cc engine. The removable go kart sidecar for Robin has its own 50cc engine and is removable from the Batcycle. The bike was designed for the 1966 Batman movie and subsequently made appearances in the TV series during the same decade.
