Here is a vintage hot rod that will go like stink courtesy its huge engine. We like the exposed mechanicals on this car that makes it look like a mean dragster from the yesteryears. This car's design is based on the Red Baron model car Mattel used to make. Tom Daniel has done the designing work to bring this vintage Hot Rod to life.

Delving into its looks, the Red Baron is known for featuring an exposed engine which leads to the canvas-top driver cabin. We think that this car closely resembles a diesel locomotive as it is basically a huge engine which is attached to a flimsy looking cabin. A nice touch is the skull hood ornament that sits in front of the engine.
Talking about the huge engine, a large inline eight cylinder engine powers the Red Baron tribute and has six big Stromberg carburettors that feed the huge engine. The front wheels sit on a narrow track with the fatter rear having a wide track to take all that power the straight eight puts out. Now, if only we could get our hands and lay some rubber down. Wishful thinking.
