Tintek, Czechoslovakia-based promoter of chrome exteriors for cars has launched its first chrome application in the country on the Chevrolet Camaro SS. Adding the 'bling' quotient to the high priced car, the chrome wrap does not sound like a cup of tea for all. The special Tintek technology makes the car appear like it is just off a Generation X Robot movie, at the same time retaining the classy effect that grabs eyeballs. The chrome finish seems to envelop the car’s body in a protective, yet stylish format. Even the alloy wheels reek of the chrome.

The company declares the death of paint and suggests the new styling of cars - in chrome. The neat glitter-arty is created with the help of a special 3-D Foil Car Wrap, which is ‘wrapped’ over the paint of the car. The establishment of the chrome over the paint allows this process to be reversed when decided by its owner – a plus one for a car owner to try out this new-age styling.
The chrome tinge is available in a range of colors including silver, gold, black, blue, green, violet, orange and red. Satisfying the need for the searchers to find the new and the extraordinary, the chromed cars have been seen to be catching up, report car tuners. Other cars spotted in a similar chrome finish are Mercedes Benz C63 in Dubai, Audi R8 5.2 FSI V10 at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2009.
The reflective exterior sure does make one gaze at it in awe. In short, its different.
