Dagger GT that we introduced you with back in July in production was nothing but a Bugatti Veyron Slayer. In comparison to Veyron’s 1,001hp and a top speed of 432km/h, Dagger GT aims to break every record with 2000hp and 505km/h speed. Based on the Corvette Cheetah concept design wise, Dagger GT is equipped with Tom’s multi-fuel (petrol/methanol/hydrogen/ethanol) aluminum 572 Twin Turbo engine that churns out 2000hp and 2,710Nm torque and is mated to a TranStar/Mendeola 6-speed transmission.

Equally stunning are the performance figures of the real monster, as Transtar claims it achieves 0-60 mph in 1.5 seconds and quarter mile in less than 6.7 seconds. The car has its outer body made from carbon fiber, whereas high-strength 4130 Chromoly Steel chassis forms the inner structure. This is not all and TranStar has recently added that a 2500bhp option will also be made available.
Dagger GT is a limited edition as only five will be made in 2011. Sales will begin during the first half of 2011 and 10 units will be delivered in 2012. Each car is priced at a minimum of US$450,000. However, it remains to be seen whether TranStar will keep its words and re-write the record books.
