Volkswagen debuts the Concept BlueSport

Volkswagen debuted its latest concept, the Concept BlueSport at the NAIAS, calling it a “compact and passionate car with a clear Volkswagen signature” The fabric top convertible has a great exterior and interesting interiors. An intuitive and easy to operate touchscreen in the cockpit grabs attention looks good for conventional functions of the car, and lightweight seats come upholstered in leather.

Power comes from a 180 PS TDI clean diesel mated to a six-speed DSG dual clutch transmission. The RWD vehicle can reaches the 100 kmph mark in 6.6 seconds, and is capable of a top speed of 226 kmph. BlueSport can turn to an eco-mode, getting a fuel efficiency of 4.1 liter /100km, against the 4.3 liter/ 100km in normal mode.
