VW Buggy – A practical and sporty concept with hybrid powertrain

The brainchild of Victor Uribe, the VW concept is a futuristic vehicle with Hybrid powertrain and AWD traction. The car has been designed to be practical and sporty, and is especially intended for the young people with little money in their pocket. VW buggy is the successor of Kubelwagen – a famous vehicle that was a reference for its practicality and affordable price. As a result, the vehicle is to be sold in US at a lower price than that of Tiguan’s. The final design of the vehicle features a lightweight body with clear inspiration from beach’s dunes. The dark areas that you can spot in the images are made of light and cost effective basalt fiber, which adds to overall styling cues of VW Buggy.
