There are people in this world who often come out with their spectacular innovations to rescue the world from the bad effects of the Global warming. One such freak is Mark Muller – A Swiss engineer who intends to take a 40, 0000Km trip around the world in his own build ‘Wind and Solar Powered Car’. He wants to do it without emitting even a single gram of CO2. More images after the jump.

This solar and wind powered car will be having solar panels to power its electric motors during the day run, whereas in the night drive, a wind powered generator can be raised to re-charge the batteries. In order to get this car approved for the road use, a trailer carrying all these equipments was built for this project.

Muller and his co-driver will be traveling through 30 countries during their journey which is supposed to commence in this spring. And with his project named as Icarus, Muller is confident of achieving his goal, but without burning his wings.
