The future of automobiles is expected to bear some of the most unexpected changes. Designs keeps on changing every year. Technology doesn't stay away from these rapid changes. We will see a completely new trend, when external designs changes with internal upgrades. A designer could create amazing concepts with his imaginations and inspirations. An engineer could make those designs feasible, by analyzing them. But when these professional people work apart, the process of bringing out a practically feasible product becomes complicated. But, if designers and engineers work with complete co-ordination, then, they can make beautiful as well as feasible models.

FB R2000S Concept Motorcycle
Croatia based Freelance designer, Miroslav Hundak, has displayed his futuristic design of a bike as one of his portfolio work, in the Behance network. The designer had created this concept bike to participate in a design contest on the theme 'Future of transport'. The image itself clearly depicts the designer's futuristic vision. In fact, the concept is simply mind-blowing. The design of the wheels is the highlight of this model. This concept will captivate everybody at the first glimpse itself. Remember, this concept is a 100 percent design work as of now, created using Computer Graphics applications.
Features of the concept bike
The designer has opened up that this concept's engine and proportions were inspired from BMW R1200S; however, most of the other features were his unique creations. The design of the wheels without spokes is marvelous, and surprises its viewers. It is not easy to imagine a wheel without any spokes or parts joined at the center of the wheel. This feature is quite impressive and unique. In fact, the designer has visualized that, electro-motors fitted to the rim of the wheels will propel the vehicle forward. In fact, there are two wheels at the rear, which describe the stability of the concept. Two coiled springs depicts the designer's importance to the rear suspension system. The wheels at the rear are independently suspended which means that while turning or cornering, both wheels have different inclination and reaction towards the ground. This is an excellent idea and very unique about this concept.
At the front side, a hub steered suspension system forms the active component, that supports smooth driving, by taking up jounce and rebounds without transmitting much of the acquired energy to the vehicle's frame, due to shocks. The laudable feature of this concept is its hybrid driving technology. The designer wants a four cylinder, boxer, internal combustion engine with electric generator as the vehicle's power source. The headlights are in the form of two vertical strip of lights. The wind deflector shows the designer's importance to aerodynamics of the concept as well. Small and sleek taillights enhances the look of the vehicle from behind.
Practical barriers
Well, if you ask an engineer, he will say that it is not easy to produce a concept vehicle. The concept has to pass several rigorous tests to make them practically feasible. The design of the model is equally important, but procedures and methods for building a real model is quite difficult than designing it. The vehicle has to be safer from all point of views. The choice of materials should be capable of bearing the vehicle's features, so as to offer maximum protection to the rider, even during high impacts and collisions. There are many points that should be considered, while designing the vehicle itself. The exterior design of the vehicle highly affects the aerodynamics of the vehicle. It doesn't mean that a sleek design would possess perfect aerodynamics, but the choice of materials also affects considerably.
The vehicle should possess very little drag co-efficient in order to avert the aerodynamic loads at high speeds. This concept's innovative feature, the spoke-less wheels might make the production of this concept more complicated. They might also demand high strength materials, which indeed affects the availability and cost of the production versions. If there are problems in producing a single component, it would completely seize the entire production plans. As mentioned earlier, the production of concept models are very difficult, but if they are designed rightly, it is possible to produce a real model.
Final word
With an amazing design, let us hope that someone will come forward to produce this concept to suit the real world riding conditions. Until then, the entire credit of this concept goes to the creator, 'Miroslav Hundak'. Overall, the designer had done a brilliant piece of work on this concept and definitely, his talent will inspire millions of other designers around the world. Thanks to websites like Behance network for showcasing the real talents of people.
