Ferrari unveils a new panoramic glass roof FF in Paris

As fall approaches and the air starts to get nippy, it’s time for convertible owners to begin driving around with their roofs up. But for folks who want to enjoy the fall scenery without risking being exposed to the colder air, Ferrari has created a new version of the FF that comes with a full panoramic glass roof. The new special reflective glass roof extends from one roof pillar to the other allowing natural daylight to flood into the vehicle’s cabin without letting the heat escape out. The vehicle offers customers the chance to experience genuine open-air driving without giving up acoustic and thermal insulation.

The Ferrari FF was shown off by the company at the Paris Motor Show which in the absence of any new offerings by the company at the event meant that it got the opportunity to dominate the spotlight. The new variant of the four-wheel-drive four-seat shooting brake sounds like a very promising and practical option for people who would like to enjoy more of the natural scenery during the colder months.

However, one must remember that the new panoramic roof also adds a lot of extra weight to the vehicle which may affect the vehicle’s handling adversely at higher speed and hamper its performance as well. For people who would rather drive a slower Ferrari than a vehicle with a lesser view, the Ferrari FF could be the perfect ride. The company has not yet revealed the pricing and availability for the new model.
