Just a few weeks ago, Jaguar released its latest luxury offering at the Paris Motor Show. Dubbed the F-Type, the model garnered much attention at the event though the British brand is already setting its sights firmly on other projects as well. According to unconfirmed rumors, the company is mulling the production of a crossover and a small sedan to its revamped line up of luxury models. Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar’s Global Brand Director, has already stated that the new models, as well as the newly launched F-Type will come good on the expectations that the general public holds with regard to the performance, design language and innovation employed in jaguar vehicles.

From this point onwards, the F-Type is expected to be the “orientation point” forming the core of the Jaguar heritage. The future projects from the company, including the new rumored models, are expected to be spun off with F-Type specific branding. The company’s first new two-seat model in over five decades, the new launch is expected to provide an excelling starting point from which the design language of future Jaguar products will be evolved.
Rumors also suggest that the company is planning to launch a coupe version of the F-Type after its convertible model has been in the market for a year or so. The company is also expected to confirm or deny speculations regarding F-Type based crossover and smaller sedan later in the product cycle of the new model.
