The larger cities in China are densely populated with population running into multi-millions. The increasing population means increase in the ownership of cars and other vehicles, which in turn leads to traffic congestion and long jams on roads. The rising traffic woes have forced the Chinese authorities to launch several steps to tackle congestion and it seems that the congestion would decrease considerably in some Chinese cities with the introduction of the Youngman JNP6250G, the largest bus in the world. This bus is spacious enough to carry 300 passengers.

This one-of-a-kind bus is manufactured by the Youngman Vehicle Group. The length of JNP6250G is 25 meter, 13 meters more than the conventional bus, which is used for public transportation across the globe. This five-door bus features 40 seats. It is powerful as well because it can hit a high speed of 82 kph. The pavement level step and wider aisles make this bus disabled-friendly.
The disabled can seat comfortably in the central area of JNP6250G, which seems to be inspired from the “bendy bus”, which was once used in London. The designers of this bus have incorporated two accordion-ribbed joints in the JNP6250G, allowing it to turn with a radius of a normal bus.
It is learnt that this bus will be initially used in Beijing and Hangzhou and a Bus Rapid Transit service will be created in these cities for a fleet of these vehicles. On the highway, these buses will have a dedicated lane. It seems that the JNP6250G might emerge as a viable solution to the environmental and congestion problem plaguing several Chinese mega-cities.
