In its basic specification, the Mercedes-Benz CLS AMG is regarded as one of the finest vehicles on the planet at the moment. But the Stockach, Germany-based specialist tuners Kicherer know something about autos that the general public doesn’t which is why they decided to improve on perfection and created the Kicherer Mercedes-Benz CLS 6.3 Yachting. The exclusive and comprehensively modded vehicle comes with forged Kicherer RS-1 wheels that are 21 inches in the rear and 20 up front.

To accommodate the new wheels, the characteristic sporting curve of the vehicle’s chassis frame was electronically adjusted. To give the tuned Merc a top-level sports cars-spec deceleration value, steel flex brake lines were used on the new high performance braking system. A unique star-graphite full-cover film from Kicherer was used to dynamically enhance the vehicle’s visual profile.
The cabin of the AMG version of the Mercedes-Benz CLS has largely been left untampered though Kicherer has created an exclusive carbon-fiber, Alcantara and leather design for customers that want to get the full Yachting treatment.
Performance wise, the 2012 Kicherer Mercedes-Benz CLS 6.3 Yachting sees the base model’s Biturbo 5.5 liter engine’s output being raised to an impressive 860 Nm of torque and 625 hp. Kicherer has also removed the electronic speed limiter from the Mercedes-Benz CLS which allows the vehicle to achieve max speeds of 300 km/h with ease.
To ensure an optimum drive and to maximize the output of the wheel and tire combination, the powertrain has been given a Kicherer limited slip differential with variable slip as well as their proprietary PowerConverter to make acceleration smoother. Kicherer will announce the availability of the vehicle at a later date.
