Lumma adds sport trailer to Porsche CLR 558 GT

Though many urban inhabitants reside in cities where a large part of their lives revolve around work and their families, more are beginning to realize the benefits of outdoor activities. When weekend draws near, plans are made to go camping and fishing to get away from the hassles of urban life. In view of this, German auto tuning company, Lumma Design, has built a special trailer for clients to tow their belongings and other gear as they pursue their quest for outdoor fun.

Lumma has introduced a trailer that matches the Lumma CLR 558 GT, a modified version of the Porsche Cayenne diesel. The Lumma CLR features such changes as a body kit that consists of a rear bumper, front and rear spoiler, side sills and a sport-styled hood. Together with the custom trailer, the CLR is transformed into a sporty machine that looks set to take on the outdoors.

Customers looking to place an order for the trailer can request additional components such as retractable lamps, a customized exterior design and integrated electric wenches. To make way for the trailer, the modified CLR has a sport exhaust system that consists of four tailpipes towards the corners, replacing the standard centrally mounted triple pipe exhaust.

Fans of the Lumma CLR can make good use of the trailer that’s sturdy enough to accommodate snowmobiles, quad runners and jet skis. For those who prefer the woods, it can be used to support tents, camping gear and other kits. The trailers can be customized according to clients’ wishes as well, based on the recreational activities they like to indulge in.

To ensure that the CLR has enough pulling power, the car has been tweaked to produce 272 bhp from the standard 237 bhp via a Lumma D-Box while torque has been increased to a good 630 Nm from 550 Nm.
