Maruti Gypsy is the king of Indian roads – be it mountains, rugged or muddy roads. Maruti Gypsy conquers them all with relative ease. Maruti Suzuki Gypsy King has 1298 CC G13BB, MPFI, 16-Valve, petrol engine that is able to produce 80PS at 6000rpm power and 103Nm torque at 4500rpm. Engine is joined with five speed manual transmission that sends power to all the wheels. It is considered one of the best off-road vehicle on Indian roads and with its 210 mm ground clearance makes it able to evade all potholes and pits in the road.
Its diphragm spring clutch is designed to withstand higher rotational speeds and requires less release load, hence reducing the wear of parts. Being a lighter vehicle, it does not get stuck on sandy or muddy tracts.
Maruti Gypsy isn't a vehicle known for its good looks but for the immaculate performance it offers in any terrain. Maruti Gypsy with its sturdy and robust structure is always being a vehicle for all weathers and places. It is the vehicle to surrender to the call of the wild. It runs smoothly on the hills for its higher ground clearance of 210 mm. Design wise, Maruti Gypsy doesn’t have great looks and its boring boxy design is outdated, sans any makeovers since it was launched first.

This light MUV from Maruti Suzuki was hot favourite of adventurous minded people. The car is light weighted and suitable for all types of terrain. This three-door door vehicle had all external features like Driver's side rear view mirror, Spare wheel cover, Front footstep assembly and Foldable Front windscreen. The new models of this car are provided with wider track and all-round leaf suspension. No changes had been made to the three-door layout of the car.

Inspite of being an MUV, Maruti Suzuki Gypsy had good interiors compared to the other cars during its time. The interiors of the car is not much stylist and it is much simpler compared to the SUV's of today’s time. This vehicle has lockable glove box with handy grab rail. For excellent front view of road, the front seats of the car are positioned higher. The MUV has two benches at the back, which are centre facing. It is sufficient for four people to sit comfortably at the back. However, the front seats of the car are more comfortable than the back.

There are no audio or MP3 player on Maruti Suzuki Gypsy and hence it is not preferred by music lovers. The car comes with Fabric Upholstery and wheel cover, which are its inbuilt accessories. Apart from these, no noteworthy accessories are present.
