As mentioned above, the GranCabrio Fendi is powered by an eight-cylinder engine, which churns out 446 HP at an RPM of 7000 and has a torque of 490 Nm at 4750 RPM. The 7 speed ZF automatic transmission ensures fluid gear shifts which gives excellent acceleration and top speeds. The top speed of the vehicle is 283 kph. It takes 5.3s to get for 0-100 kph, 13.9s for 0-400 m acceleration and 24.8s for 0-1000 m acceleration.
The engine is 4691cc V90° proficient at churning out 446 HP at 7000 RPM, with a peak torque of 490 Nm at 4750 RPM. The timing is activated by two overhead camshafts per bank coupled with four valves per cylinder, which are controlled by hydraulic tappets. This ensures superb accelerations and turns even at high speeds. The 7-speed ZF automatic transmission comes with a hydraulic torque converter to enable extremely fluid gearshifts.
Torque is at an astounding rate of 490 Nm at 4750 RPM. The engine is coupled with a 7-speed automatic transmission gearbox with paddle shifts. The house of Fendi adorns the entire vehicle with its trademark design. The brake calipers and the double-stitched, quilted leather seats are a classic Fendi yellow. The gear knob, dashboard, door panels, and the steering wheel are adorned with Fendi Pergamena wood. To finish off the interior design, Maserati used Fendi’s Selleria leather range, the Cuoio Romano, to fit the carpet, gear level, instrument dials, and the travel kit.
Sports car enthusiasts will not be disappointed with the sound the engine makes. It is an eargasm as the by-pass valve manages the engine making it purr or roar like the one you want. The “Sports button” releases the pneumatic valves and the thunders to 3000 RPM and you can roar on the road like a lion let loose.
The Maserati GranCabrio Fendi also comes fitted with the Skyhook suspension (that detects acceleration via sensors in all four wheels), which is electronically controlled. This system continually adjusts the damping. This means that the car can effectively adapt to your driving style and road conditions to give the utmost in driving pleasure. The handling is controlled by Maserati’s proprietary MSP (Maserati Stability Program), which comes equipped with ABS and EBD as standard.
The GranCabrio Fendi is a sport convertible with an open hood and has a layered body color named the Grigio Fiamma Fendi. The color itself is a dark gray that has been specially designed for the car and the car's surface has an iridescent golden finish. The car has an aerodynamic look. The inside of the car incorporates Pergamena Fendi wood trims and leather from Fendi’s Selleria lineup for the various interior parts. The Fendi’s “F” logo can be found on the seat and on the center of the 20” wheel rims.

The GranCabrio Fendi can be characterized by its soft-top roof. When closed, GranCabrio gets the dashing looks of a coupé. When open, the Maserati GranCabrio becomes an amazing cabriolet, free to brag all its lithe, slinky beauty. The vibrant side-on view is accentuated by the reduced ground clearance and long bonnet. A stylish “V” points towards the grille, in the middle of which is a large chrome Trident that envelops the cabin and blends with the third rear stop light. Towards the back of the car, the triangular light cluster is formed by 96 LEDs with a wide diffuser, giving the car a sprinter-like poise.

The GranCabrio Fendi's interiors are quite an eye candy and invite one to touch them. Only the best and the finest materials were used in its build. The leather used for the carpet and travel kit was handcrafted by Poltrona Frau. The attention to detail is evident even in the dashboard switches where one finds chrome rings. The Alcantara finish accentuates the steering wheel and the steering wheel paddles. Fendi’s most premium leather from its Selleria line, the Cuoio Romano, is used for the gear lever, for the instrument cluster cover and for the carpet. The GranCabrio Fendi is extremely spacious and is the only one in the line to fit four people. The canvas hood is three layered which provides excellent acoustic cancellation. When the hood is open, airflow is controlled by Maserati’s airstop system. The air-conditioning has also been designed to provide the maximum comfort. As for safety, the GranCabrio Fendi comes with Electric Park Brake and Brake Assist System, which can be controlled electronically by Maserati’s MSP (Maserati Stability Program). There are front and side airbags that have their design borrowed from the ones in the Maserati Quattroporte S. The airbags themselves are next gen and come with load limiters and with a “Low Risk Deployment” feature that adapts to the intensity of the crash.
