All-new Mazda 6 to be officially unveiled at the Moscow International Automobile Show 2012

Bearing a close resemblance to the Takeri concept, the all-new Mazda 6 is being dubbed one of the most beautifully designed sedans of all time. The sporty looking model comes with a sleek and curvy body with well-proportioned silhouettes from all angles. Thanks to a massive weight loss and an innovative SKYACTIV engine, the Mazda6 also promises to be one of the most frugal as well as the best handling cars in its class.

The model’s evolution from its previous generation becomes even clearer inside the cabin where a bold steering wheel offsets the high-set dashboard. The simply laid out cabin is designed to make driving a true pleasure and the seats are created to make both the driver as well as the passengers feel cocooned inside the vehicle. Set to be officially launched at the 2012 Moscow International Automobile Salon that starts on august 31, the model is expected to be hit among visitors at the event who will be allowed to take a test drive.

According to Akira Tamatani, the Chief Designer at Mazda, the new Mazda6 has been created with the same kind of passion that vehicles like the classic Alfa Romeos. Of course, the passion is there for all to see with the powerful presence artistically realized on the vehicle via energetic expressions of motion. More details about the vehicle’s insides and specifications will be revealed at the Moscow Auto Show.
