A major in Industrial Design from Hong Kong, designer You Yin Ting is the brains behind this rocking chair-inspired compact urban mobility concept designs. The oRo is a Human Powered Vehicle that offers users a zero emission, eco friendly, cost effective and practical solution to their urban mobility woes. The vehicle runs on two wheels which retract when parked to save space with a customizable seating that can be adjusted by simply leaning back or towards the front.

The smooth aerodynamic design of the charming exterior as well as the whole structure of the oRo is beautifully adjusted to be ample for a single user. The compact vehicle features safety devices like two front lights and a small back light just below the indicators that allow it to be seen by other motorists on the road at night.
The compact vehicle has been created with a front lower panel that facilitates and optimizes ventilation with a sliding door in the front and aerodynamic panels that give the vehicle a safe and smooth exterior finish and protect the user from the weather. Standing in at a mere 200 x110 x 90 mm, the oRo comes with a stylish and comfortable interior that features a digital speedometer, pedals and a steering rack. The space interiors allow the vehicle to remain somewhat lightweight and allows the rider to get a great workout on route to work or college etc. as well.
