Porsche has taken the veils off of its new 911 series. The officially released pictures, video and specs sheet reveal that the new model will be offered in a total of four variants. Both the Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S will be offered in coupé and cabriolet make. The Porsche Carrera 4 comes equipped with a 345 horsepower (350PS) engine which accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds in Coupé make and dashes to the same speed in 4.7 seconds in Cabriolet body.

The Coupé has a top seed of 177 mph (285 km/h) while the Cabriolet has a max speed of 175 mph (282 km/h). Fitted with a PDK transmission, the Coupé returns a fuel economy of 27.3 mpg (8.6-L/100 km) while the Cabriolet has an estimated fuel economy of 27.0 mpg (8.7-L/100 km). The CO2 emissions figure for the Coupe model is 203 g/km and for the Cabriolet body, the number is around 205 g/km.
The Porsche 911 Carrera 4S coupe dashes from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds while the cabriolet makes the sprint in 4.3 seconds. The coupé has a maximum speed of 185 mph (299 km/h) while the Cabriolet has a top speed of 184.8 mpg (296 km/h). According to Porsche’s official tests, the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S coupe has returns a fuel economy of 25.8 mpg (9.1-L/100 km) and the cabriolet has an estimated fuel consumption of 25.5 mpg (9.2-L/100). The Coupe emits 215 g CO2 per kilometer while the cabriolet emits 217 g CO2 per kilometer.
The Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and 4S will be debuted at the Paris Motor Show next month and will go on sale throughout Europe by the end of 2012. The model will hit American shores in the first quarter of ’13. In Germany, the 911 Carrera 4 Coupe will be priced at €97,557 while the Cabriolet will cost €110,290. The Carrera 4S Coupe will cost €112,313 in and the Cabriolet will be sold at €125,046. For the American market, the Carrera 4 Coupe will cost $91,980 while the the Carrera 4 Convertible will be retailed at $103,880. Porsche has not net revealed when the Carrera 4S will hit the US market.
