What is the safest vehicles I can buy according to you?

I thought that large SUVs like an Tahoe or Expedition would be the safest vehicles. Due to the size and weight, you will squash smaller vehicles in an accident. However, I have heard they are no safer than a Honda Civic if you hit an immovable object like a tree. Also, all SUVs, not just Samaris and Troopers, are a lot more likely to be involved in a rollover accident than any car. I have seen several Explorers and 4Runners on other sides after colliding with cars. I have seen other SUVs flipped all the way over to their collapsed roofs. So what is the safest thing I can buy? I am a 30yr old male hailing from philadelphia.

I think you should not buy any of these. I have Buick Enclave suv which ranks 3 out of 14 Affordable and the safest Midsize SUVs. This ranking is totally based on the analysis of 45 published reviews and test drives of the Buick Enclave, and my analysis of reliability and a safety data. The 2010 Buick Enclave is a very much comfortable, luxurious and very much capable family hauler. Just do not expect particularly a nimble handling or some brisk acceleration. Reviewers say the 2010 Buick Enclave packs the surprising number of a standard features and offers a quiet, refined interior that is very rare for an affordable midsize SUV. They even compare its total upscale interior and composed ride with a Lexus RX 350. That is high praise for a vehicle that is not considered a luxury SUV. Though reviewers are impressed with an enclave’s interior accommodations, they are not excited about what is under the hood. They say this SUV’s engine is up to a task of hauling up to eight people and their stuff, and has smooth handling and a very much comfortable ride. But shoppers looking for some fun driving dynamics in their family vehicle should look elsewhere because of the Enclave is tuned more for relaxation than excitement.
