Bayern, Germany-based tuning shop and aftermarket tinkering specialist TechTec is best known for adding more power to the already par excellence powerhouses of BMW motors. The chip tuner has now decided to step up its game and diversify their resume by delving into more vehicle segments and brands. The tuning shop has turned its attention to the near flawless Audi S4 and its coupe variant the S5 and has tinkered with its 3.0-liter TFSI engine to give it significantly more power than it came geared from the factory.

In its original settings the 2,995 cc V6 engine outputted 333 ponies @5500-7000 revs per minute outputting 324 pounds per feet of torque @2900-5300. TechTec gave the engine a software remapping along with direct injection capability. The tuner also fitted a mechanical supercharger which gave the engine a torque upgrade of 60 pounds per feet bumping it up to 384 lb-ft and bumps the horsepower output by 97 hp which takes it up to 430 horsepower.
The shop is also offering an optional speed limiter removal with the tuning package though it hasn’t specified whether the new 186 miles per hour speed the S4/S5 now boasts of is the result of it or not. The power add-on only makes the shapely and already aggressive vehicle a treat for anyone who is looking for additional power under the hoods of their Audi S4/S5s.
