Toyota reveals 2012 Land Cruiser at Brussels Motor Show

Japanese automaker Toyota has unveiled its 2012 Land Cruiser at the Brussels with new and improved exterior and more attractive interior styling. This car features new mod cons and comes loaded with several new useful technologies. This eight-seat full-size SUV is larger than Toyota Highlander and 4Runner but smaller than Sequoia. This full size is expected to pose tough competition to the Land Rover Range Rover Sport and Mercedes-Benz M-Class and GL-Class. This SV with aggressive look features seat-mounted side-impact airbags in both first and second rows. The side curtain airbags are present in all three rows. The powertrain

Toyota has updated the 4.5 L V8 turbodiesel engine used in this SUV. The engine delivers a total output of 286 horsepower at 3.600 rpm. It can achieve its peak torque of 650 Nm between 1.600 and 2.800 rpm. This engine is eco friendly as well because it is Euro 5 emission standards compliant. Toyota has incorporated the Turn Assist and the Crawl Control function in this car with the Multi-terrain Select (MTS), Tire Angle Display and Multi-terrain Monitor. The engine used in this SUV with full-time four-wheel drive is mated to six-speed automatic transmission. The 2012 Land Cruises has a towing capacity of 8200 lbs.

The exterior & Interior

The front bumper of this SUV is larger than its predecessor. The fog lights are integrated into the oversize bumper featuring a new grille with vertical bars having chrome and silver finishing. The navigation system of 2012 Land Cruises includes XM Nav Traffic data service. The telescoping steering wheel of this car with push-button star features power tilt. The leather-trimmed seats add to the beauty of this car. This car features Bluetooth connectivity too.
