Wald International, the famed Japanese tuner, has introduced a new upgrade kit for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate. Dubbed Black Bison, the package includes a stunning new body kit that comes with optional add ons including a lowering kit, aftermarket wheels, a sports exhaust system and new front fender vents. The upgrade package itself features an aggressive rear diffuser, a modified bumper and revised side skirts.
The tuner has kept mum about what the package would include in terms of interior upgrades but it did let on that buyers can opt for alloy pedals for an extra charge. What makes the offer even better for Merc fans is the fact that the tuner chose a 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate model to show off its tuning skills which effectively means that they can give their 2-year old Mercedes Benz model a great new makeover for a fraction of the price of the newer model.
The model had been unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show a few years ago and if offered with two petrol and three diesel models. The five engines offer a vast range of performance specs amongst them.
The range starts with the 170 hp E220 CDI and moves onto meatier powertrains including the 204 hp E250 CDI, the 231 hp E350 CDI, the 231 E350 CGI BlueEfficiency and is topped by a staggering 388 hp-outputting E500.
With these engine choices, the Black Bison package become an even more lucrative offer for Merc owners looking for a change from the regular good looks of their vehicle. The new body kit for the wagon family car is offered at JPY 504,000 that comes around to USD 6,385 or EUR 5,030 at current exchange prices.
